As a former architect, I have trained a lot on drawing plans/sections and elevations. later after learning 3D, we can also unfold a complex 3D surface into a plane. Fantastic!
The human face and body is perhaps one of the most familiar 3d surfaces to me, also the most unfamiliar I've been wondering how to unfold this beautiful surface and also unfold all the complex emotions on the face.
